About
Katelyn Goldstein is a multimedia artist working in watercolor, animation, filmmaking, and illustration.
When she was just a toddler, Goldstein was diagnosed with a rare form of Crohn's Disease, which necessitated several lifesaving surgeries and limited her early childhood activities.
Recognizing she could not always do everything the other kids were doing, she retreated into art and soon, what began as a distraction from childhood troubles became her passion.
Goldstein has created shorts such as her pitch-winning, 360 student film "Endless Cycle," sponsored by Univision, and has prepped content for Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and LAIKA Studios. Her current artistic project is a series of personal, nature illustrations. When she is not creating, Goldstein works as a Mentorship Lead for the Women in Animation Portland Chapter.
